An interactive story (think "Choose Your Own Adventure") first published in the online humor zine Planet Relish in 2000, and later reprinted in their "Best of" issue after readers ranked it the top story of the year.

"Betty was thirty-eight and still believed in Santa Claus. But sometimes he could be such an asshole." An inappropriate holiday story published in the anthology Thoughtcrime Experiments, available online. Alternatively available: online (direct link to the story), as a free PDF, and as a print-on-demand paper book. Wrote it at Clarion in 2006.

"Shooting Dogs" is a humor/horror/gangster romp based on my unproduced ten-minute play of the same title. ChiZine/Chiaroscuro was nice enough to publish it in October 2007, and there it remains, archived until whenever.

A bit of a postmortem for the story is available here, but it might kill any magic you thought was there before you came down from your marshmallow-high.

An adaptation of Nick Hornby's McSweeney's story of the same name. Directed by Brian McGinn (American Teacher) and co-written by Alex Wilson (and three other screenwriters). Alex also did some voiceover work. Unfortunately the director doesn't have the music rights to the current cut, so he can't make the short film public, but he occasionally provides private links to projects like these in the newsletter.
